morning everyone. president obama has another light day on his schedule today. just an afternoon meeting with defense secretary leon panetta. that's after a new fiscal cliff offer is now on the table showing he and speaker boehner could be closer to reaching a deal. the two met at the white house for about 45 minutes yesterday. last night president obama laid out a new compromise. a couple of details for you. the about the has dropped his revenue demands to $1.2 trillion over the next decade. that's down from his initial $1.6 trillion that he wanted. he's also offering another $1.2 trillion in spending cuts and $130 billion in savings but adjusting. >>> inflation to social security. now one more very notable aspect president obama is now saying he's willing to extend those bush era tax cuts for all incomes less than $400,000 a year. that's, of course, up from the $250,000 we've been talking so much about. speaker boehner's office is calling that a step in the right direction but he still thinks that it is an unba
